(--a quick review by Spider Blues)

Spider Blues

Jeez, Alicia Keys was annoying!  She was ok while comingout second best to Frank Sinatra,
but when she took advantage of being the headliner & first award recipient,
she lengthily let it be known that God certifiably thought she was the most special
& deserving girl in the whole world.

After thanking HIM & everyone else associated with her life, she closed with us, The Listeners,
who got to be lucky enough to partake in the fruits of her dream.

Gag!  As Horrid Little Obligato might say, "Alicia is right atop
The List of Those You Might Want GOD to Pull A Job On!"
How special & thankful would her faith be then--unlikely to bear a tiny pimple,
let alone boils.

signed,

Eric Sati:  That one song, semi-classical,so sweetly sad you only wanna slash
your wrists a teeny bit.
Wetly maudlin, teary moist; it is so great.

                          Sombrero Guy

__________

The best lyrical chorus couplet ever?  --it's by Edie Brickell, I think:
'Religion is a smile on a doll.
Religion, is a lie in the fog.'

'Just heard Mylie's next song a second time.

Who knows how great her writers will be; kid's persona blossoming woman.'
--

'--guess the girl's grown up, a year & a half after we heard of her.
Lust & Puppy Love.'

--

BookiesHideout.Com  'Guess she's gonna be a star.'
--

'The hottest song ever is _Billie Holiday_ doin' Summertime.'

Horrid Little Obligato steps in to note:
Mariah Carey wants us to listen and 'Touch Her Body'.
It would have been much more appealing if she hadn't gotten so old;
falsely stuffed.
